THE BEGINNING

Bingara Gorge Golf Course was established as part of the Bingara Gorge community in Wilton and developed around a Graham Marsh-designed championship course. Recognised as one of South West Sydney’s most scenic and technically impressive golfing destinations, the course has been a central feature of the community since its formation in 2014.

A NEW CHAPTER

In 2026, Golf NSW acquired Bingara Gorge Golf Course from Metro Property Development as part of a long-term vision to establish a flagship “Home of Golf” in New South Wales. The acquisition represents one of the most significant strategic initiatives undertaken by Golf NSW and ensures the long-term future of the facility as a publicly accessible golfing destination.

WHY GOLF NSW INVESTED

Golf NSW identified Bingara Gorge as a unique opportunity to create a central hub for participation, events, player development and high-performance programs within one of the fastest-growing regions in New South Wales. The facility provides the foundation for future investment, community engagement and long-term growth of the game.
