Exciting Updates and Future Plans at Bingara Gorge Golf Course
We hope this message finds you well and enjoying the wonderful amenities of our community. We are writing to share some significant changes and exciting developments taking place at Bingara Gorge Golf Course that we believe will greatly enhance your experience.
To begin, we’re pleased to announce that Bingara Gorge Golf Course has assumed full management of all operations. This decision reflects our commitment to delivering a more cohesive and tailored golfing experience. Rest assured, all the familiar faces among our staff will remain the same, so you can continue to expect the same high level of service you’re accustomed to.
15th & 16th Hole Pathway Construction & Reopening
We’re also thrilled to share some positive updates regarding our course. Holes 15 and 16 are on track to reopen by late November 2024, which will allow players to enjoy a more continuous nine-hole layout. Prefabrication works are complete and on-ground construction is now underway, works are expected to be completed by late November.
Additionally, we’ve designated Holes 7, 8, and 9 as practice holes, so those who wish to have a quick practice session can do so easily. We kindly ask that all players, whether practicing or playing a full round, check in with the Pro Shop before entering the course. This is vital for both insurance compliance and ensuring everyone’s safety. As always, we want to make sure all players enjoy the course under safe and well-coordinated conditions.
Brand New Website Launch
We’ve launched a brand-new website to offer a more seamless experience. Whether you’re booking tee times, checking event details, or looking for the latest updates, everything you need will now be just a click away. For those keen to keep track of competition results, we’ll be posting them regularly on our website’s “What’s On” page. Be sure to check in and stay up to date with all the action! We also have all historical competition scores saved on this page.

New Online Booking System
We’re also excited to introduce a new online booking system (added functionality with MiClub to enable the online purchasing of tee times), which will allow residents and social players to reserve tee times with ease. With this new system, players can book up to 10 days in advance, making the process more convenient and accessible for everyone. Furthermore, we will offer an optional GolfLink membership for $295 annually, providing an opportunity for competitive play, NSW Golf registration, and the added benefit of 14-day advance bookings.
Note:
- Existing Bingara Gorge GolfLink holders will also receive the added benefit of 14-day advance bookings
- Existing Green Fee waivers will continue to apply for lot owners who purchased directly from Lendlease until 18-holes are open for play, this does not apply to any resold properties or properties sold by Metro
Updates to Personal Golf Carts
We’d like to address some changes concerning personal golf cart licenses. At present, there are 85 active licenses, and we do not plan to issue more. Effective July 1, 2025, the annual fee for personal carts will increase to $995 per annum. However, existing agreements will remain in place until June 30, 2025. Additionally, for residents who decide to discontinue their personal cart licenses, we will be reducing the total number of licenses and will not accept a transfer of an existing license, with final details to be announced soon.
An updated agreement will be shortly be issued to all existing license holders and will require completion prior to any continued use of private carts on the course, as previously mandated any private golf carts must be conditionally road registered.
Bingara Gorge Country Club & Proshop
Looking ahead, we are excited about the development of the new Country Club and Clubhouse facilities, set to begin construction early in the new year. This project will bring a fresh new Pro Shop, updated restrooms, and additional storage for 50 golf carts. As these enhancements take shape, we also expect the completion of the bridges, paving the way for a full 18-hole course along with a driving range—an achievement we have eagerly anticipated. We also plan to introduce a new membership option, designed to offer an attractive, well-rounded experience for all golf enthusiasts.
